Welcome to our on-line home,

The Legislature is currently deliberating Governor Palin's proposed AGIA license with TransCanada. The state license would grant the Calgary-based company reimbursement for field work and regulatory approval costs associated with permitting the gas pipeline.

We are traveling to sites across the state throughout the month of June to hear from Alaskans, legislative consultants, TransCanada, and the Palin administration about the proposal and look forward to the input.

To find our AGIA documents go to http://lba.legis.state.ak.us. Click on gasline proposals, and then click on document logs.

We look forward to listening to your questions, comments, ideas and concerns.

Sincerely,

John Harris - R-Valdez
Speaker of the House
